About Creative Kuteer Foundation

Building a cleaner, greener Nashik — one drive at a time.

Citizen-Led Action
Born on the banks of Godavari, sustained by citizens.

Creative Kuteer Foundation began not behind desks, but along the ghats of the sacred Godavari in Nashik — where concerned citizens stood side by side, witnessing plastic accumulation and choosing to act.

Nashik is blessed with deep cultural heritage, scenic hills, and holy riverbanks. Yet rapid urbanization brought plastic pollution, choked storm drains, and litter at public gathering points. While awareness existed, a critical gap persisted between silent concern and collective ground action.

Rather than relying on distant top-down directives, we chose a boots-on-the-ground, companionship model. What started as weekend morning clean-ups among friends quickly grew into a multi-generational movement: students, shopkeepers, homemakers, and working professionals uniting every Sunday to clean ghats, restore public spaces, and plant indigenous saplings.

Crucially, we believe true cleanliness requires lasting eco-alternatives. Through our Cloth Bag Initiative, we collect discarded cotton fabrics and collaborate with local women artisans to stitch reusable carry bags — phasing out single-use polythene at neighbourhood vegetable markets and creating proud, conscious daily habits.

Our Mission

A cleaner, greener, more responsible society — built through citizen participation and sustainable eco-alternatives.

We empower local residents across Nashik to take direct, recurring ownership of their neighbourhood cleanliness, transforming casual concern into measurable, weekly grassroots results.

Our Vision

A forward-looking Nashik where plastic-free habits and community stewardship of public spaces are the effortless everyday norm.

We envision clean riverbanks that sustain life and devotion, waste-free street corners, and an inspired generation of youth who view caring for nature not as a duty, but as a celebrated way of life.
